I found the hotel top class, our room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast and lunch were fantastic and staff friendly and helpful. The bar entertainment made our stay most enjoyable

Lovely hotel in a great location. A bit of refurbishment going on at the moment so the main breakfast room is not in use. Staff very pleasant as always.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff are super friendly & helpful. Rooms are big, warm & comfortable with lovely shower. Had dinner in The Alamo, 10/10 for the steak. Breakfast is table served & delish....hot & freshly cooked. Staff & manager in breakfast room very friendly & helpful.

Lovely hotel and the bar is big and spacious this was our second trip here I have recommended it to friends and family and they loved it too the spa treatments are next to none we will be back down again

What a place?? - booked to stay in a superior family room, much much quieter than any other hotel I've stayed at, clean & great layout in room, mini fridge, and lots of space. Right by the river Slaney, and the pretty promenade walk, the children's playground is but a minute away and very good for smallies and older children. Reception staff very good, a mention especially to Clair - helped me with the booking and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a dream - hot breakfast served to your table to your liking, dietary restrictions or requirements and catered for, dairy free and gluten free fresh options available - breakfast team were excellent - in no particular order, Mossy, Claudine, Collette, Micheal, and Donna all made sure we had everything we needed - friendly and accommodating as well as hard working. Very much appreciated by our little family. Leisure centre very good, clean and fresh, great pool and little kiddies pool, staff there helpful and knowledgeable. Wonderful stay, would be back in a heartbeat - hope to go back in the not to distant future. One of the best hotels we've stayed in this country...not one complaint.

Just surprised to be asked to leave lounge so soon after being served a drink at 11.30.pm. I don't complain about paying the price but bit disappointed to be asked to move. Otherwise very happy.

I love this hotel my second time staying there and l can't wait to go back again the room was spotless the bed very comfortable l had to check what kind of mattress was there and l was right it was the best type l don't think l can name it very friendly staff services with a happy face. Wonderful Friendly hotel. Staff could not do enough for us particularly the breakfast manager and staff. Will be booking again for later this year. We booked 3 rooms for a family stay and would all highly recommend the hotel. Its they type of place you would return to every year.

Has a lovey time in the hotel room was nice and clean breakfast was lovey lots to choose from / only thing is I think 4 o’clock is a bit late to check in if only stying one night I understand they have to clean the bedrooms but 3 o’clock would be a better time / but we like the hotel and be back sometime ????

Fabulous hotel staff brilliant especially Claire on reception and jen restaurant manager rooms gorgeous leisure centre great food v gud menu a bit small in bar could add roast of day or fajitas or ribs on to it entertainment was great on the Sunday nite my fav hotel been there about 50 times

Food in the bar/restaurant is extremely overpriced and poor quality....£20 for lasagne and chips or burger and chips is shocking! We got pizzas and they were tasteless ans like something out of a freezer in Tesco. We couldn't open the balcony door as scaffolding was put up outside so the room was stuffy with no air (there was 1 window but it was tiny)...we were definitely put in a poor room because we booked through a third party! The radiator was making noise all night going on and off, it sounded like a fan going off. I was awake at 5.30 with the noise. The kids from 6.30. Told the manager the next day and he had a very bad attitude about it. He said I should have rang reception and they'd have sent someone up but I didn't want to wake everyone at 5.30, so I took my chances and at least they got another hours sleep. He asked me "What do you want?" He obviously thought I was looking for money back or something. I told him I want "NOTHING!" He said if I'm there again he'll give me a room upgrade but I won't be returning!!

Had a really nice stay in the hotel. Staff are so accommodating and friendly and really make the whole experience for me. The rooms are spacious and give a real homely yet luxurious feel. The food is really good and breakfast is great, loads of choice and always replenished. Lovely walk along the river. I have been here previously and will definitely be returning. Can’t fault it!

We were welcomed to the Riverside Park by 2 friendly receptionists and our stay just kept getting better and better. Never met such friendly, attentive and obliging staff throughout. Spoiled for choice in the 3 Restaurants. The location is perfect for the Golf Club, the town, the sights, the river and the train station. Our room was spacious and we appreciated the cleanliness. This was one of the friendliest hotels i have EVER stayed in from we walked in the door .the food in the evening was superb 1 meal was included it was so good we dined there the 2nd night breakfast was delightful and you ordered from the menu and it was beautifully presented. The staff all over the hotel were brilliant wil be back here and would recommend it to others thanks again we also were given a room looking out at the river we were in room 224 thanks again for a lovely stay barbara

We just went for a one night quick break. It could not have been better from start to finish. Reception at check in and check out so pleasant and professional. Room was excellent, very well designed and spacious and bright and even though there was a wedding on the same day it was really quiet at nighttime. Food was excellent and again the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. And of course the area outside by the river is fantastic with a beautiful walk of a few miles which we did in the glorious sunshine.. Very highly recommended. Jim and Gillian. 3rd June 2016

Room was good except for view. Always find if you do lidl breaks hotel is inclined to give you the worst rooms. Food was fantastic and freshly cooked breakfast was wonderful. would recommend highly.

Great hotel. We only stayed the one night, but will be back again. Mary met us at reception and was very pleasant and helpful. At breakfast the owner of the hotel went around to every table to talk to people, â€™nice touchâ€™. Keep up the great standards.

We requested a nice room and we got it! Our room had a small balcony and overlooked the River Slaney which was really tranquil and even had gorgeous swans. Food was top class and the staff couldn't do enough for us. There is live music on saturday & sunday evenings in the bar. This isn't everybody's cup of tea but it didn't intrude on our peace and enjoyment over the weekend. Rosemary O'Neill, Dublin 16

Lovely hotel, afew minutes walk to the town, yet felt like was out in the countryside. Staff very nice, rooms lovely and comfortable, and a lovely touch to have a balcony overlooking the river. Food in the bar very nice, wasn't in the restaurants but they appeared to be very busy. Couldn't fault it.

I couldn't find any fault with this hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was second to none and I would definitely go back to the Riverside Park Hotel and Jim Maher (General Manager) should be proud.

staff courteous and friendly, food amazing, the alamo restaurant is the place to go but the bar food is just as good, the gym was great, pool great for kids otherwise your stuck in one very small lane that two adults can't swim in but the use of jacussi, sauna and steam room make up for that. would go back again.
