Great hotel, very modern & cozy rooms, friendly staff in reception & bar/restaurant and food is lovely, breakfast was 100%. 2 mins walk from eyre square so very central & 4 mins walk to eyre square shopping centre. Would be delighted to stay here again ????%

Hotel location excellent, room was basic but did the job...we didnt spend much time at hotel.Bar service good and staff very friendly and polite.Food also good.Over all hotel was perfect for what we needed it for.

Website did say basic but wasn't even plug socket by mirror. Pillows like rocks. No glasses in bathroom & also no extraction fan everywhere steamed up when using shower.There 3 days, breakfast first day waited 15 mins & was stone cold. On 2nd morning everything overcooked, scrambled egg was like rubber. Had bsr meal first evening which was lovely. All staff extremely friendly & helpful & despite breakfasts would use hotel again as so central.

We stayed at this hotel 6of us while visiting Galway for a 2 night city break could not fault it in any way from our check in to check out staff were so friendly and helpful rooms were spotless the breakfast was lovely and very well organized we had food in the bar in the evening which was also lovely with a good menu to choose from we enjoyed our stay and will return again when visiting Galway

Hotel room was very basic, but was clean. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast on first day wasn't great, but was lovely the following 2 mornings. €12 daily for car park was on top of hotel price, was reduced to this by hotel, usual price is €20 in 24 hours. We stayed in the car park at the back of hotel. Hotel is nicely situated close to everything, but room started in needs updating.

Great experience in the hotel. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and staff were very friendly. Great location as just off Eyre Square, 2 min walk to the shopping centre and next to train station. We didn't have any issues. Room was bit small but was clean and comfortable. Would defo book a stay again.

We got confirmation of our reservation by text, but when we arrived at to check in at the hotel there was no record of this on the hotel’s system. This was corrected only after the receptionist checked in other guests ahead of us. Next morning our booking for breakfast hadn’t been given to the waitress serving breakfast. At check in we were given a quiet room as requested on the first floor, which was small but adequate(112).The possibility of a 4th floor room was suggested & we got the impression a this would have been a better option and possibly not given to us as we got a good rate in comparison to the rate which was given over the phone. There was no WiFi available & any improvement suggested by the receptionist didn’t work. Cups but no saucers were available in the room which is a pretty poor standard of service. The duvets & bed linen were very comfortable. Breakfast was good as was the standard of service. We will have reason to be in Galway on a regular basis in the future, and will not be interested in this hotel for the reasons outlined. This a pity considering it’s ideal location.

Enjoyed my stay my one complaint was the room was too hot . Staff excellent service very good nice food . Would come again but request a room with more air circulation Thanking you , Mary Charles.

Stayed for 3 nights location is great right beside everything .staff were very friendly and helpful working in such strange circumstances was total at ease in the hotel with spacious tables and plenty of sanitizer available.would recommend this hotel and stay again

We had a very pleasant stay at the Eyre Square Hotel recently. Hotel was very clean. Food was excellent, both breakfast & evening meal. Staff were most efficient & friendly. Lastly very conveniently located.

Staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Especially the breakfast staff. Couldn’t do enough for you. Room was tidied daily. Could do with more than 1 elevator. Wouldn’t stay on 4th floor again due to noise of birds. Other than that a most pleasant stay and the staff alone would make me return.

Very pleased with our visit to eyre square hotel..... staff very attentive especially the girls serving breakfast and serving in the bar. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.. Breakfast was lovely, plenty pots of extra tea. Hotel was run very efficiently through the covid crisis and even though the hotel was following the government guidelines we still has a relaxing and happy vacation. Would definitely return and book through Lidl breaks

Location excellent Rooms small & stuffy.Stayed on 4th floor terrible smell on corridors from carpet as it was dirty. Breakfast was ok wouldn’t do breakfast again in this hotel. Reception & bar area spotless. Hotel is being renovated so maybe 4th floor will be odourless after renovation. Lorraine on reception very helpful & kind.

The renovated bedrooms are lovely however I would be very unhappy if I got one of the older rooms. Breakfast was a bit unorganized , a lot of tables leftuncleared, it would help if one if the staff was given the task of clearing and cleaning all tables leaving others to take and bring orders , needs someone to take charge and supervise , however the hotel is going through a renovation and is a lovely building with huge potential . Location excellent

Location of the hotel is excellent right in Eyre Square. The hotel would benefit from renovation to the rooms as the decor is dated also the toilet door is damaged which isn't very inviting. Breakfast was excellent and staff are lovely.

This is a lovely hotel in a superb location Ideal for exploring Galway City. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The bar/restaurant is cosy and relaxing. The food is delicious and good value would recommend. The staff are very friendly efficient and accommodating.

Very central, staff were friendly and getting used to the system in place for covid. The first night I found the room cold so I asked for a quilt and was immediately supplied with one. I didn't realize I had to pay for parking, it was discounted for the weekend anyway so I was lucky. The breakfast was good.
