Beautiful hotel. Food excellent. Dining and bar area staff so friendly and do a wonderful job. Reception staff sadly lacking in people skills. No interaction with guests arriving. A smile or a chat or wouldn't go astray.

This is my 2nd time to this hotel,lovely hotel with great facilities, I especially love the leisure center although the girl on duty was very rude to my partner,her swim hat came off in the pool and the girl on duty was very abrupt in the way she spoke to my partner about keeping her hat on,apart from that it was a great stay.

Very well appointed hotel well deserving its 4 star rating. Friendly staff, good bar and restaurant and leisure facilities. Excellent base location for touring the county of Donegal or areas of Northern Ireland. Double room a good size and comfortable, though was very warm at night. No air conditioning in room but a fan was provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Claire Hotel the room was lovely very clean and comfortable . The food was excellent and the bar staff very friendly and helpful .. we also enjoyed the music entertainment in the bar .. we will definitely return again .

Had a very enjoyable stay in Clanree Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. Room was clean and attended to each day. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of choice. Bar menu is fine but I would like abit more choice. Price is about average for drinks and food. Hotel is about 3km from Letterkenny. Its a good base to travel for example to Fanad lighthouse, Horn Head and MalinHead.

On the plus side (1) On check in the reception staff were very friendly. (2) Our bedroom was cleaned every day. (3) The food was excellent especially the Breakfast, and the Breakfast staff were very friendly and professional in their work. (4) We enjoyed the leisure facilities which included swimming pool, jacuzzi , sauna and the Leisure staff were very friendly. However we had one negative experience during our stay as follows. We had dinner in the hotel bar on the 2nd night of our stay and we ordered both our starter as well as main course dinner with a young waitress. We got our starter served to us in a reasonable time, but we were kept waiting an hour from the time that we finished our starter ,till we were finally served our main course without even an apology. Even some guests had come in after us ordered their dinner, had finished their meal and left by the time we were served our main course. In saying this I found the majority of the bar staff very friendly

Lovely hotel, the food was excellent especially in the restaurant above the golf course. Lovely receptionist on the front desk in the hotel, I didn’t get her name but she had black hair & glasses & a lovely smile & very friendly & helpful.

My wife and I stayed here for mid week break. Can't say enough about the top quality service and friendliness of all the staff. Perfect base location for touring beautiful Donegal. Will definitely be returning again soon.

The hotel was beautiful inside & the staff were great & very pleasant. the breakfast was amazing with a great selection of food. the evening meals were great with large helpings & the staff were very courteous & attentive. Overall we couldn't fault our stay.

Stayed here before so knew it was a good hotel . Staff friendly although I suspect there were some new recruits who weren’t as knowledgable as they should be. Breakfast was lovely . Evening meal disappointing and served in the bar as dining room closed . Good leisure facilities. We would stay again.

Had a wonderful 3 days in beautiful donegal, the hotel was lovely. the food was amazing in the bar and the girls working there were so friendly and good with the kids would highly recommend this hotel!! ????????

Room was excellent comfortable beds. Staff throughout this hotel were eager to help and so friendly. Enjoyed time in the bar and breakfast was delicious. Hotel is decorated lovely and all areas clean and comfortable would highly recommend and look forward to another stay soon

We loved every minute of our break away. Our room was beautifully spacious and had every amenity one might require. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and dinner in the bar was first class.The service was excellent and very friendly and helpful on all fronts. We will definitely be back!

Superb hotel.We got such a fantastic deal with minibresks.ie €109 b&b plus a 2 course evening meal..Food was so good and unlike some offers we had the choice of the normal menu.The only thing extra was €9 for a 12oz steak. Bedrooms were lovely too.The staff were so pleasant and immediately struck up a very positive rapport with us.Definitely we would love to return again .

The staff were amazing. All staff from the cleaners to the bar staff to the waiting staff. Nothing was too much bother for them. I told them at reception that they were all amazing and hope this is passed on to them. Thanks and we will definitely be back

Brilliant time away with my wife and 2 young kids (3 + 2). Got upgraded to a spacious family room free of charge and kids loved the pool. Exceptional value for money, loved it, will definitely be back

Enjoyed 2 nights at the Clanree with my wife and two young boys for their birthday. The rooms were very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Staff in Reception were very nice and helpful. Breakfast room was lovely, nice, bright and modern. I like the way the buffet is served to you, rather than everyone helping themselves. The food was absolutely brilliant and great staff at breakfast too. Only complaint was the noise from what seemed to be a Holy Communion group of kids staying next door to us. At 11pm it sounded like 10 kids were going crazy in the room alone, while their parents were at the bar. Reception sorted the issue very quickly though. Maybe review your rules on children using sauna, steam room and jacuzzi... a lot of other hotels now allow u16s in these, when supervised by an adult. Overall a great stay and we have already booked again!

Love this hotel. We had a family room, nice size, clean and comfortable. All staff extremely accommodating, changed our date when we needed without difficulty. Great dinner in bar and amazing breakfast with so much choice. Hotel also has a great pool with sauna and steam room. Highly recommended this hotel for families.

Attending a funeral so very short stay. Bed was very comfortable as was room. Breakfast was lovely with good choice of cereals, yogurts and fruits. Cooked breakfast was fresh and hot. Staff was efficient and very friendly.

We had a family room two children and two adults. But unfortunately we could hear the party night until two o Clock in the morning ????????. Maybe the hotel would have been better to organised putting customer going to the party night closer to the venue. And Family in a quieter room .Recommended better planning for this hotel.

Thanks to hotel gor a good stay. Pointers to note Hair on barhtokm floor In mcgettigsns bsr where we were seated for foodthe floor around and under table nbeeded sweeping snd seat needed cleaning dien. At breakfast we were dllowed up and fown to buffet which wexwere surprised given the covd circumstsnces. All in all slthough it was only one night we had an excellent stay
