Staff were fantastic... friendly, helpful and interested... Food in restaurant could have been better. Perhaps a smaller menu with more attention to quality. The setting is truly amazing

Beautiful hotel and gardens located beside a lake. Stunning scenery. Hotel check in was perfect. Very pleasant staff on reception . Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant/ bar amazing. Liam, the concierge adds a very pleasant , welcoming experience to everyone. Highly recommend.

Croverhouse is set in beautiful well kept grounds. There is a leisurely walk down to Lough Sheelan golf for those interested and fishing. The staff at Croverhouse are cheerful friendly and very helpful. The room was immaculate with a view toward lough. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of foods was dinner also. This has been our 3rd trip to Croverhouse over the years and l can't wait for my next. Thankyou for making our break enjoyable. ????

Stayed for May Bank Holiday weekend with Lidl Breaks. We took wrong route, we went through Oldcastle instead of Ballyjamesduff just for reference. Lovely hotel was very busy on the Sunday, different functions on. We were on the first floor lovely room very spacious, we were there just for chilling no sightseeing. We mainly sat in the lobby and read papers and magazines. I think its missing a leisure centre. we went for a meal that evening. Food is splendid no complaints at all. Breakfast the next morning same no complaints. Will definitely be back but think one night is plenty if not sightseeing as no other activities in the Hotel itself.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent ,bar service etc. Our bedroom on first night was very warm. We then realised there was a thermostat on radiator and one on the wall that we could adjust, so a better sleep was had on our 2nd night. we look forward to returning.

The Hotel was beautiful & the staff were so friendly & helpful & kind. the grounds around the Hotel were outstanding & so well kept. The only two things we would have preferred was a separate shower & more of a variety on the menu, eg cottage pie, chicken casserole. Our overall stay was brilliant & would go back again & also recommend it to our friends.

We spent two days at this hotel and had a wonderful stay. On arrival we met Lisa at reception, and she checked us in. The room was very clean and tidy, and the food was excellent. all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was our first visit to this hotel, and we were very happy with the location and grounds, and we are looking forward to our next visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings with pleasant and helpful staff.

Location, location, location, we enjoyed a 2 night stay at this fabulous hotel, the staff were excellent, they were friendly and made you feel at home. Meal times were a joy whether it was the great choice or the views from the dining room, you could not fault this hotel. It was an ideal base for us to enjoy all that the surrounding country had to offer. We are not golfers but you could not be unimpressed with the eye-catching 9 hole golf course outside your front door and with Lough Sheelin as a backdrop. We shall return God willing

Really enjoyed our stay at the Crover Hotel. Very comfortable, homely environment that offers a warm welcome to guests. The meals are absolutely delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Hope to return soon.

This hotel was lovely the ground s and walks are amazing. The view over the lake was spectacular. The staff were extremely helpful and great service. Our room was beautiful and the food was delicious. Overall we had an amazing stay and we would definitely return.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations by a mile! It delivered on a beautiful location, a comfortable room with a view to die for and excellent food with generous portions. The staff were faultless; friendly, efficient and clearly proud of their establishment. Can't see myself going anywhere else except Crover House Hotel in the future!

Hotel is in a beautiful setting with views of the lake and gardens and a lovely walk around it through the trees. Room 151 had a big balcony and amazing views. Breakfast was lovely, table service, overlooking the lake. all serving staff were cheerful and attentive. Lady on rec eption was lovely and friendly gent on the door was a nice touch. Dinner menu was varied, something for everyone. There was little tv reception but not an issue for us.

Lovely hotel staff are very friendly food really good the guy kevin that was singing in the bar was very good really enjoyed him just one thing i think should change you cant get a drink in the bar unless your getting food at night we ate earlier came down at 8 to get a drink we were sent to the front bar there was no telly or even back ground music it was just to quite for me one other thing you should advertise that there is music on in the bar we nearly missed it after that said i would defo go back as once we got into the bar really enjoyed the buzz its not a complaint just a suggestion

From the moment you enter the front door you are made to feel very welcome and the receptionist explains all the regulations they have put in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Crover House Hotel have all the covid-19 requirements in place to ensure all guests and visitors are safe, yet able to enjoy their stay with as little inconvenience as possible, they leave as many doors open as possible to stop guests having to open them with their hands, they have plenty of sanitiser placed around the hotel with a bottle on each table. We stayed for a week end and when we arrived back to our room on Saturday evening there was a laundry bag hung on our door with a change of towels, toilet roll, bag of toiletries and a bag of tea, coffee, milk and sugar such a nice touch when there is no house-keeping in place during the present climate. In the present climate breakfast settings have to be booked, you just have to sit back and let the hotel look after you. Food in the restaurant is excellent. We had a very enjoyable stay and a big thanks to all the staff working in these stressful times. We will be back to the Crover House Hotel very soon. The hotel also has a par 3 golf course and fishing on beautiful lake sheeling and a fairy fort for the children.

Beautiful Hotel. Covid restrictions in place so it was quiet which was lovely. Our room was lovely with a lake view. Staff couldn't be better, friendly and very helpful. Food really good to. Not overpriced like a lot of hotels at the moment. Would definitely recommend here.

Fantastic hotel.. we stayed over a Friday and Saturday night great food and hotel has lovely grounds with stunning views of the lake.. It's a hidden gem in co. Caven... we shall be back ...

The hotel oozes a feeling of grandeur set close to the shore of Lough Sheelin. Staff were very friendly and helpful staff and our room was just wonderful, very spacious with views overlooking the golf course and Lough Sheelin. The only downside of our stay was that our room was over the bar area and with a quite noisy wedding party staying we didn't manage to get much sleep, keeping us awake until staff were made aware of the problem (4AM). On check out however we were compensated for the inconvenience. We would not let this experience deter us from staying here again or recommending to friends as the hotel and views are stunning but we would however ask for a room away from the bar and festivities (with same views if possible)

A lovely hotel very comfortable . The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful and a walk down to the lake at dusk is a must. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in Crover House, room overlooking lake, a must. Very welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere, food was excellent and room was very comfortable. It was a birthday treat a my friend was delighted, we walked the garden, by the lake and sat out on the patio and took it all in. Will definitely be back,,,,very soon

Very happy with our short stay in Crover. Everything was very good - bedroom, bathroom were excellent. Busy bar and restaurant but efficient. The Golf course needs some attention.
