Built in 1838 The Nesbitt Arms Hotel takes its name from the last Whaling family in Ireland and lies at the hub of the heritage town of Ardara. Irelands capital in the manufacture of hand-woven tweeds and handknits.
Area Description
From Glencolumbkille a road heads inland towards Ardara, through the wild and picturesque Glengesh Pass where the road meanders through sloping mountainous terrain. Glengesh (Gleann Geis, Glen of the Swans) is one of two glaciated valleys that sculpture the northern edge of the Banagh peninsula.

Ardara is situated in Irelands North West in the rugged and beautiful County of Donegal.

Once you cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to arrival you will not incur a cancellation fee from the hotel. Cancellations that are made within 48 hours prior to arrival and no shows at the hotel will be charged the 1st night of the stay to your card. Please note that your booking deposit is non refundable.

Pros: Hotel is centrally located & immaculately clean.
Cons: No private parking, very outdated rooms & the bar was closed for renovations which I think should have been advertised on the hotel's website to let potential customers know.

The Nesbit arms hotel was excellent lovely helpful staff very clean hotel food good as well will defently be backI'll give it a 5 star
