Hotel is very nice, mixture of a bunch of what looks like different buildings joined together. The hotel pub is the village pub so there are some interesting local characters there but that adds to the experience. In the same building you walk out of the pub past the hotel giftshop, the hotel cafe shop, receptio, conference rooms, hotel rooms and then the Spa area. Definitely a different set-up but all very nice and comfortable. The Pool area is really outdated but I imagine this will be worked on in time. The rest of hotel looks refurbished to a high standard. The hotel staff were very nice and reception were very helpful. The food in the restaurant really is exceptional - couldn't fault it and the breakfast hits the spot as well. We definitely enjoyed the weekend break.
Lovely room with comfortable beds and complimentary still and sparkling water. Breakfast was one of the best ever
I recently spent a night in this hotel. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable as are the bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious and all the staff in the hotel were very helpful. I didn't use any of the facilities so cannot comment. But I would definitely use this hotel again. Teresa from Dublin.
I have stayed here on a numerous of times. Hotel was extremely busy on this occassion as there were functions on but the food and room were excellent as usual, just it was very busy in the bar. Extremely happy with the Horse and Jockey Hotel
Hotel very nice. Spa relaxation room very cold while waiting for a treatment. Disappointed with this. Breakfast lovely.
We love this Hotel and they certainly know how to look after you. Clean, modern, air conditioned, pool, spa, gym, fresh bakery, coffee shop, two restaurants, gift shop. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had with a great range of food! The reception staff are really really friendly. Each room has very high quality hand wash and lotion with complimentary still and sparking water. Large flat screen TV with Irish and English channels and free wifi! A great place to stay for a mini break or stopover on the way to cork. We love the horse and Jockey Hotel and LIDL breaks too :-)
