Hotel was perfect for our basketball Tournament. The only issue I had was that our Room No 102 was constantly busy with flies. From the time we walked in to during the night & early morning. It was an awful to have a fly land on you during the night. Or squat them regularly with a book. We did have the window open as the room was quite warm. I did mention this o reception after breakfast but guess it was too late to rectify then.
Great time from start to finish, staff lovely, room lovely, bar lovely ??
Lovely room but TV did not appear to work (sound only). Breakfast service a bit chaotic but overall it is a lovely hotel
Lovely hotel lovely breakfast and lovely staff really enjoyed my stay and will be back again
We had a fabulous stay at this hotel would highly recommend it the food was beautiful and the staff from reception to waiting and bar staff were very friendly and helpful thank you all
Fantastic hotel, big and airy room. Very modern. Beautiful interior, friendly staff and great food.
The bedrooms are Nice and the breakfast good, with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is large and impersonal with a layout only suitable for conferences or other large gatherings. The food in the restaurant/gastropub was flavourless and unappealing.
Friendly staff Clean comfortable and great food
Lovely staff. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
Fabulous hotel I would stay there again the bus stop outside the door to take you in to town :
Food was lovely.. Disappointed with the accommodation. Was a birthday threat asked for a níce room. We got a dated room to the road which was noisy and curtains let in light early in the morn..
Hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful and food good. Overall excellent value for money.
2nd visit to this holiday this year really enjoyed it lovely hotel great staff lovely food Will visit again

Staff were lovely and food and cocktails were fab.
Great value for money. Lovely staff and delicious food
I have to say I am well travelled in Ireland but this is definitely coming in at one of my top 5 hotels. Staff and amenties were excellent and in these times I felt very safe. There is a Centra beside the hotel which was very convenient if you needed anything. The rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Limerick.
Great location and ample parking easy access to motorway. service and food very good. Overall experience 5/5
Lovely clean hotel. Friendly staff. Food was gorgeous. Very relaxing atmosphere.
Check in good. Restaurant dinner super top marks. Breakfast a little cold. Beds and rooms excellent could not be better. Location is excellent near crescent shopping centre. Good adherence to covid regulations. Good parking and free. Near motorway. Good customer service at reception. Friendly staff throughout bar to bedroom cleaning.
Everything was grand ,except we had to get our 0wn hot water to make tea in breakfast room.?(No table service)
Lovely hotel rooms very nice with lots of room staff on reception very friendly. On the bone restaurant so disappointing for dinner. Menu was very limited so asked if they had chicken goujons and they had so ordered those with chips. I got processed chicken strips and frozen chips and to add insult to injury was charged €13.00. Maybe short staffed but very poor service all over in restaurant.
A midweek break with friends. Excellent value, we stayed here before and would highly recommend it. Great staff too. Breakfast was fantastic and the Indian restaurant in the hotel was super.
Breakfast was lovely, but plates should be bigger. Pity there was no scones or any muffins, croissants of any Danish available for the kids
Staff very friendly …. Hotel clean but a little old
1st appearance was great - I arrived with my 2 children and specifically requested a family room with a double and 2 single beds, of course it was 2 double beds. I asked at reception to change it please as my kids wouldn’t settle in the same bed. I was told there was nothing the first night but they’ll change it the next day. Nobody rang or changed anything and we stuck in that situation for 4 nights. Breakfast was also a free for all - no cutlery, no tea pots, very limited cereal. No management whatsoever. I’ll never book here again.
Lovely hotel , food was lively. Staff very helpful def would go back

The hotel staff were very friendly, food was beautiful and it was a very clean hotel , ill definitely stay there again ????
Nice hotel, great sized rooms, very friendly staff, only downside - outside of hot breakfast was limited choice
We couldn't fault the hotel one bit. Room was definitely family standard plenty of room. Staff were very friendly and very nice chat too. The food was beautiful was worth every euro. Most definitely going book again very soon.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Amazing staff. Will definitely be back.
Great staff.so attentive. Beautiful food and drinks and stunning hotel
There is nothing bad that I can say, only good, Staff were brilliant the room was spotless. We have stayed in this hotel a few times and every time we arrive there we are blown away with the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was brilliant and again staff excellent. I look forward to our next visit. Well done to all at the Great National South Court Hotel
I love this hotel, I have stayed there before. I am looking forward to staying there again very soon
Lovely hotel highly recommend Lovely room and soft double beds Staff 10 of 10 Food good wi be going again told all my friends All covid guide lines carried out ????????
This was our first time staying here would highly recommended.
Hotel facilities were good, what topped it off was the customer service from the guy that runs the bar. We would stay again Thanks
I stayed here with my partner and children for one night. I found it great value for money, the beds were so comfortable and the staff were very friendly. To add to it the food was really nice for dinner and also breakfast.

fantastic stay, very clean and spacious room . food great staff are very friendly and helpful will stay there again thanks
Stayed with family for one night to break up the drive from Kerry to Dublin. The room was tip top, spotless and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. They managed to get us a table despite the fact both restaurants were fully booked, the food was great and again lovely staff. The breakfast was a little bit of a let down, maybe we arrived a bit late with only 20 mins left to go so perhaps just a blip. Will stay again.
Excellent. Very welcoming.
Stayed here in September 2019 really enjoyed it. Hotel and rooms very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel
really liked this hotel room was lovely and clean staff were friendly and food was good, really handy for limerick hospital and the crescent shopping centre.
I stayed in a family room which was very spacious and comfortable. We are in the restaurant and the food was fabulous. Staff were very friendly.
Hotel was really lovely. Ideal location and great facilities. The only thing to let it down was the breakfast area. The food was lovely but if you ordered anything that was not included on menu there was a long wait and was often cold. The staff were lovely but there was no structure which led to confusion and delays. Guests were greeted with a hello, you can sit where you want. This perhaps led to a lot of confusion and delays in getting served tea or coffee. Overall the stay was great but organisation of breakfast staff should be looked at.
Very good value for the price charged. Exceptionally nice room.
Receptionist very pleasant lady and check in was easy and quick. Room size very generous we booked double room and got 2 double beds in room. Bathroom had a bath. Shower had good water power. Breakfast was extremely tasty and of a very high standard and the choice was amazing. Like the receptionist the breakfast staff were so polite and nice. The hotel is ideally located for Limerick Hospital which is on the outskirts of Limerick and there is free parking which is a bonus as you have to pay for parking at most Limerick hotels. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel and I will certainly return.
Excellent hotel great location had a lovely time good food great staff
service was very slow. ordered creme bruleille for desert - came back 25 minutes later to tell me they did not have that desert- why did it take so long to inform me and does it normally take 25 minutes to serve a desert. overall disappointed as it was our 10th anniversary. my steak was overburnt for a medium steak. I had to cut the burnt pieces of and leave on my side plate.
Great hotel, family room very nice, warm, clean and spacious. Food was decliious in the Off the Bone restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Excellent value for money. More equipment in the gym would be very useful esp if hotel is busy....
We stayed in Jan '17. We were upgraded for free to a suite it was lovely and spacious. We ate in the bar it was very tasty and good service too. Breakfast was good too plenty of choice and not too busy on Sunday morning at 10.30. By car it was two minutes to the Cresent shopping centre so very handy for shopping. Will definitely recommend and will stay again.
We stayed in a family room here in December(2 adults 2 kids) and had loads of room. The room was very comfortable. The staff on reception were helpful and very polite. We had dinner in the Indian restaurant attached to the hotel and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff here were brilliant as well. The atmosphere in the hotel was great and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The following morning we went for breakfast and again the staff were lovely and there was an excellent section of fruit, cereal, pancakes, yoghurt, hot foods, bread and this was lovely also. Even though the dining room was quite busy there was lots of room for everyone and was very comfortable. The location is perfect for the city or the crescent shopping centre and there is a bank and supermarket outside the door of the hotel also. Really really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay here again.
What a fantastic hotel could not fault anything. Staff so friendly & helpful. I have stayed in many hotels but this is by far the best. I will definately be returning.
Nice hotel with friendly staff! Our room was nice but the bathroom was very pokey! We are in the bar I had Indian which was beautiful chicken tikka masala, my husband had a steak which was average. Over all we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it!
Friendly helpful staff. Spacious, clean room. Lovely breakfast, great choice. Would definitely recommend.
Hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. When we arrived the room was cold as there was a problem with the radiator, we were given a plug in heater for the room. Room was nice, bed comfortable. Overall hotel was nice would stay here again.
Myself anf my 2 kids stayed for one night.we had a lovely comfortable room lots of space n relaxing. I did however find the temp a bit to hot in the room during the nite which led me to wake up with a dry and sore throat. .Every person is different regarding room temp so maybe just slightly turn rads down with an option of turning it up..thanks for being nice friendly n clean we will deffo be back
The room was very big, clean and comfortable but that's where the good stuff ends. Bathroom was very basic and the narrowness of the bath meant that showering involved a battle with the shower curtain. The walls where paper thin and we could hear other guests coughing and doors banging all night. Staff where courteous but not friendly. The breakfast was horrible - tea pot streaked with rancid fat, food over-cooked, greasy and tasteless.
The hotel appears to be very dis organised and I booked two rooms and asked that they be located near one another. Upon arrival which was after 4pm the rooms were not ready and when we were given the rooms they were not a bit near each other. Apart from this the hotel is fine
Only one problem but a big one at that.. If you intend on trying to get some sleep forget about it.. Walls paper thin.. Heard everything in the room above us and the rooms either side of us.. The breakfast was very good and the dinner was lovely.. But very annoyed over the noise levels..
Lovely hotel happy with all
The hotel was okay but not wonderful. The room was cold and I had to ring reception to have heat turned on on two occasions. The staff were polite but not friendly. We ate dinner in the hotel and the food was lovely. Breakfast was also lovely with lots of variety. I enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the lack of service and lack of friendliness.
What a fantastic hotel the staff were so helpful & friendly. The cleanest hotel i was ever in. I have stayed in many hotels but by far this was the best ever. I will defo be returning.
Very noisy and walls are paper thin. Food wasn't great either
Really enjoyed our stay. The service was friendly in all areas. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was good and the waiter friendly, we ate in he bar which was very relaxed, exactly what we wanted. I would stay again for a relaxing no fuss chilled out stay.
I stayed here with my sister recently to attend a family function, and the staff were very friendly and courteous. We were unsure if our daughters were going to join us, so we had booked the family room, and realised at the last minute that the girl were not coming, so we requested the hotel change the booking to two double beds, and we got a huge room with a double bed each, which was fantastic. We had a meal included, and the restaurant is lovely, it's mainly indian food, which was gorgeous. Again the staff in the restaurant were efficient and professional. Breakfast the following morning was your usual fare, it was hot and plentiful, and we had no issues or complaints. The only niggle was the bathroom towels are more like hand towels than bath towels, but other than that, it was an excellent stay for a great value deal. Well done to the South Court and to Lidl. I would certainly stay here again.
Overall, we were pleased with our stay and found the staff and accommodation to be good. On the downside, the dining room was a little cramped when busy which is not helped by the low ceiling height and our breakfast experience veered towards mediocre on our second morning.
hotel room very nice and quiet.staff very friendly and helpfull, only problem was service very slow for evening meal but meal itself nice . breakfast was lovely too and seving till 11 am on sunday was a bonus!!.
Excellent hotel. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay there again
Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly. Family room was really spacious. Perfect for 1 night stay. Only downfall to this hotel is that it doesn't have a swimming pool.
Very nice hotel, spacious rooms. Bar has a good atmosphere. New Indian restaurant combined with European dishes make dining a great experience.
This hotel is adequate for a short stay. Not great for travelling with small children. Breakfast fair. Front desk service good. Restaurant service poor.
Staff were really friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was lovely. No faults!
stayed as a family- combination of business and pleasure room was large and comfortable and met our needs staff in the hotel were very helpful - both management and reception had dinner in the evening in the restaurant --very good parking available on site free would award 3.5 stars out of 5
FRANK D Kerry. Pleasent stay, staff friendly and helpful, food good, quick service, rooms clean and spacious, Highly recommended.
Staff were friendly, i was very annoyed that we had to have our meals in bar, the room that we had booked was not available we had to take a room that had a musty smell noone checked in the second day as promiced, because of my disability i needed a room with shower the hotel didnt seem to have anyone in charge . on the second morning there was a bus load for breakfast and it was total madness noone to organise the staff theey didnt seem to know what their roles were and this resulted in guests having to tidy their own tables or wait for them to be done . I felt like getting up myself and organising the whole situation. No entertainment. the whole stay was disapointing ,Hotel needs a new manager to take the hotel forward it has such great potential, Kind regards Bernadette Dowd
Business oriented hotel. We had a family room - 2 double beds, a bar fridge would have been handy - useful when kids need snacks / drinks. Everything else was very good. Restaurant / Boru bar / Cleanliness / WiFi etc Excellent value for money.
Hotel was very convienient, the room was lovely & spacious, however the breakfast was very basic. Also, I had booked a late checkout only to be woken by reception to find out if we were staying another night as it was not noted in their records.
We had a family room for two nights, which was spacious and clean, but the bathroom was tiny. I wouldnt consider this to be a suitable family hotel, no facilities, no outside space. We came in contact with 4 receptionists in total, 3 female and one male. The girls were fantastic, extremely welcoming and friendly, however the male was extremely unfriendly. One incident un-nerved me.... I had to go down to my car to get something and left the kids in the room. When I returned, I passed the male receptionist in the corridor. He had been in our room. He didnt knock, or announce himself, he unlocked the door, walked straight in, saw the kids and left again. He never said a word! When I asked about this on reception I was told that "that shouldn't have happened, I'll investigate it and get back to you". That was the last I heard about it. When I queried it again, the girl I had reported it to wasnt available to talk to me. The hotel was full when we were there and seemed to be understaffed. Breakfast buffet was hot and plentiful. We ate dinner in the attached bar both nights, the first night was lovely, the next night was very poor. I phoned reception about a noise complaint in the next room at 3 am, no one confronted them, we got to sleep at 6 am. It probably wasnt the best idea to put 3 lads next to a family room. Our stay started well, however it ended very poorly. I wouldn't stay here again, and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
Stayed at the South Court for one night with my husband and two kids. Really enjoyed our stay and found it a very convenient hotel if you were going to the rugby as there is a coach service across the road going to the games. Would recommend it and would stay again
