Great hotel in a great location. Staff were all very friendly. Pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were great aswell. Good breakfast. Would stay again.

I cant say enough about this hotel. It was out first time in Westport, and we will be back to stay here. From the moment we got there, the staff were absolutely amazing- by a country mile, the best hotel staff we have ever encountered. We travelled with our 18 month old son and they were all so nice to him, we were never made feel we were a nuisance or in the way or disturbing anyone. The food was gorgeous and we got an absolutely wonderful room, big enough for the small man to run around in. Superb pool too and loads to do around Westport. Highly recommend, we will be back next year for sure

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel and it was absolutely fabulous. Hotel was warm and cosy and the Panda Club was open for our young lad who is 8. It was such an excellent facility for them and the girls in the Panda Club were absolutely excellent. Will be most definately returning to this hotel. 10 out of 10 for everything

Very friendly staff on reception. Poor menu in the bar with poor service. Bar needs a facelift. Breakfast nice . Rooms nice

very nice hotel, room was clean but wasn't serviced on the 2nd day. breakfast was very nice, i would advise going early, there was quite a wait and they weren't replenishing unless you asked, they seemed very short staffed.

Very Friendly Staff and welcoming. We were staying for a race and they put on early breakfast for us the following morning. Rooms are lovely and big , very clean. Leisure centre is very nice and lots of equipment in the gym and again lovely staff. We ate in the bar one night, only thing thought selection could have been better. Breakfast was very tasty and well presented. Would definitely recommend for anyone only 10 min walk into town.

Nice hotel lovely staff, service and food bar & breakfast great. We had one of the refurbished rooms which was really nice but our friends we're in one of the older ones which is very dated but if they're all being refurbished it will be a great place to stay very central but quiet.

We had a lovely stay in the hotel for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful room and lovely breakfast . Very centtral location for town. Will definetely stay here again.

A lovely clean hotel in a delightful small town. The staff are very professional and friendly. The food is good and there is plenty of resturants in the town. Some lovely walks are nearby including one in the Westport Estate. All in all a delightful Hotel in a lovely town. A great place to relax and unwind if that is your preference. We will return.

Very pleased with the experience we had on Oct 12th at Hotel Westport. The Lady we had for check in and again at check out was very pleasant and took her time with the older ladies checking in in front of us. I didn't mind waiting as I admired the fact that she was so thorough and patient with the older women. Rooms were clean and modern as were the bathrooms. I liked the balconies leading from the rooms. The lcoation was ideal, a very short stroll by the river into the centre of town. Breakfast was fine and checkout was easy. All up we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel westport. The reception staff stood out for me.

Very disappointed, The room was very old fashioned (although we had requested one of the 'newer' rooms, because i had been made aware of this before I booked}. my son bent over to turn on the tap of the bath when 3 tiles fell off the wall, smashing into the bath,just missing his head. The row of tiles were all about to fall off, we immediately sought assistance and were advised that they could change rooms, We had adjoining rooms and checked the tiles in our own bathroom which was up against the same wall, these were also very loose and call fall off at any time. We were subsequently moved as well, by this time it was 9pm, we were only staying the one night and the inconvenience of changing rooms added to a very disappointing experience.

We found the staff at Hotel Westport very friendly and helpful and extremely kind towards children. We stayed with our son who is three years old and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We ate in the Islands Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the high standard of presentation and the quality of the meals were second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for business or pleasure as it ticked all boxes for us. Look forward to going back soon.

Found the staff friendly, room very clean and has a nice view. Location is great and enjoyed a nice stroll along the river into Westport Town, However, was very disappointed with the quailty of food both in the bar for lunch and later on in the evening in the Hotel Restaurant. Quanlity really wasn't what i would expect from a four star hotel. We had quite a lengthy wait for a food in the bar & when it did arrive the salad had soggy crisps mixed with what should have been a `flame grilled' chicken breast . however, it definitely wasn't freshly prepared. It resemabled something from the local supermarket `value' range straight out of the packet.

Lidl breaks..... quite simply the best value around......truly super value....Fantastic selection of hotels....Myself and my wife have done quite a few lidl breaks already...Not even slightly disappointment.....LONG MAY THEY LAST......DEREK .....

Both my wife and I like the idea of the Lidl Break concept because the total basic cost is known in advance - dinner bed and breakfast -- no hidden charges. Our 1 night stay at the Hotel Westport was enjoyable. The bed and room were both comfortable and clean; but the viewfrom the room overlooking the back section of the hotel, left something to be desired. Both the dinner and breakfast were of a high standard. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but the general appearance of restaurant could be uplifted. Fortunately, we had no problem finding the hotel, since it was listed on our GPS. However we would recommend that the GPS address for the hotel is listed on their web site, letter heads and other publications. This will help guests find the hotel more easily. Overall, we would rate this hotel a basic 4 star

Enjoyed our stay in Hotel Westport. We were sorry not to have booked for longer break. Room with outside terrace overlooking woods and river very comfortable and spotless. Dinner in restaurant excellent and what a pleasant surprise to listen to a gentleman playing beautiful music on the piano during our meal. We shall definitely return.

We had a great night away, the room allocated was very old fashioned (but had a balcony), so we decided to pay an extra 20euro to upgrade to a very nice big modern room. Dinner was very nice also. Staff were very pleasant as well. Great to be able to walk into westport. Unfort didn't get time to use the pool/sauna etc.. maybe next time.
